Diána BERGENDI-RÁCZ

 

dr. jur. Diána Bergendi-Rácz, PhD, LL.M. is an attorney-at-law in Budapest (Hungary).

In 2014, she satisfied the academic requirements of the Széchenyi István University master’s degree program in Law and was awarded the professional qualification of Jurist which entitles her to bear the doctoral title. She earned her PhD in comparative private law from the Postgraduate Doctoral School of Law and Political Sciences at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. Title of her dissertation: Examination of warranty claims and liability in the Hungarian Civil Code and CISG. Her field of research is the lack of conformity and investigation of casual relationships in damages in connection with CISG.

In 2016 Diána completed an approved master’s degree program in Eötvös Lóránd University and qualified for a European and International Business Lawyer – LL.M. degree. She has completed this study and examinations in the English language, too. In 2018 she successfully participated in the Summer School at Oriel College, Oxford University. In 2019 she completed an approved master’s degree program in Eötvös Lóránd University and qualified as a Lawyer specialized in Insurance Law.

Diána is a member of the Budapest Bar Association and has been practising law in her own law office since March 2019. She speaks and writes English fluently and also Latin.
