Kasper STEENSGAARD

Dr. Steensgaard is a professor at the Department of Law at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University (Denmark). His main areas of research are domestic and international commercial law and international dispute resolution; i.e. contract law, international trade law (namely the 1980 Sales Convention (CISG)), international civil procedure, international commercial arbitration, private international law/choice of laws, as well as European Union law.

He has previously held positions at Humboldt University Berlin (Germany) and at a major law firm working with dispute resolution. In the course of research, he has visited Pace University (U.S.A.), Freiburg University (Germany), the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg (Germany), and Stockholm University (Sweden).
