Portugal prepares its accession to the CISG
On 7 August 2020, the Portuguese government (Conselho de Ministros) adopted a decree authorizing Portugal's accession to the CISG:

Once Portugal has deposited a formal instrument of accession to the CISG with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, as required by Art. 91(3), (4) CISG, it will become the 94th CISG Contracting State.
The CISG will then enter into force for Portugal on the first day of the month following the expiration of twelve months after the date of the deposit of its instrument of accession, Art. 99(2) CISG.
