Post-1980 Diplomatic Conference corrections made to authentic text versions of the Convention

In the years after the Sales Convention had been adopted in Vienna on 11 April 1980, it was discovered that some of the six authentic language versions contained minor errors or omissions. These were subsequently corrected in accordance with established treaty practice through so-called procès-verbaux.

The corrections made in this manner are summarized below.

Arabic text:

Correction of an error in the wording of Art. 25 CISG.

Addition of Art. 76(2) CISG that had initially been omitted from this authentic text version.

Russian text:

Correction of an error in the wording of Art. 68 CISG.
