The present decision deals primarily with the conclusion, validity and performance of an exclusive distribution agreement between a Czech manufacturer and a Slovak distributor, with the District Court applying Czech domestic law to these issues. Issues governed by the CISG (which was held to apply to the deliveries of goods made under the distribution agreement) are only addressed in passing and without any in-depth discussion.
